A Quiet Return to jackdeyes.com

It’s been a while since I last properly sat down and wrote a post here, but jackdeyes.com has always been part of my life, even during the quieter moments.

Like a lot of long running creative projects, this blog has had its busy periods and its slower ones. Life changes, routines shift, and sometimes things take a back seat without ever really being left behind. That’s very much been the case here.

I started jackdeyes.com back in 2014 as a place to write about everyday life, the things I enjoy, and the moments that stand out. Over the years, both the blog and I have grown together. My writing has changed, my perspective has matured, and life has moved in ways I never could have planned at the start, but the purpose of this space has always stayed the same.

This blog has never been about chasing trends or posting for the sake of it. It’s always been about real life. Days out, reviews, thoughts, creativity, and the stories that come with them. That’s what I enjoy sharing, and that’s what I want jackdeyes.com to continue to be.

Recently, I’ve been spending some time behind the scenes, quietly updating things and finding my rhythm again. New posts are coming, but they’ll arrive naturally and without pressure. Writing here should feel enjoyable, not forced.
