The reason why I posted that tweet and set my blog offline is that I was giving it a new look a making it even better than it was before.
Now there is still some work I'm having to do like move all the other blog posts over to the new blog but apart from that this blog is ready for you all to see and enjoy.
I can't wait to see what happens next with jackdeyes.com and I'm so excited to take you all along with me. I'd love to have everyone feedback on the new look. The blog post from the old blog will be coming over soon but for now get ready for some new, fun blog posts on the new blog.
Why Did I Move My Blog?
The reason why I moved my blog is that I got bored of Wordpress's themes and templates like yes okay they had so many to chose from but I never felt like my blog was 100% ready and to some degree, it never will 100%. I then looked around to see what hosting platforms did different to WordPress.
After looking around I come across Wix's and noticed they let bloggers have a bit more control over their blogs than WordPress do. With Wix, you can add and remove things, put things you want, and have full control over your blog.
I like Wix's because they help you with the SEO stuff that can sometimes get a little confusing.
I'm, looking forward to seeing what else I can add to the blog and to see where this blog takes us next.
What's Been Changed?
Blog Layout - The blog layout looked basic and it didn't really give you that wow kind of feeling and no matter what I did or tried to change around it all just looked the same.
Page's - The blog page's look better and easier for everyone to read and they don't all look the same
Over the next few weeks, you'll see more things being changed around and added to the blog and I'm hoping soon all the old blog posts we all loved ready will be over on the new blog soon.
